This website and its content – which will continue to evolve in the future – reflects the new value proposition that CASIS offers to the intelligence and security community and other interested parties, in the public and private sectors. Modern intelligence and security practitioners are active in diverse settings, in many disciplines, sectors and organizations. They have much to share with and learn from one another.
At CASIS, we want to continue to offer a forum for knowledge sharing and networking that will serve the needs of scholars, practitioners, the media and other interested observers in Canada and internationally.
Features of our new website will grow to include:
- Information about the CASIS program, structure, governance, activities and plans;
- A calendar of events of interest, as planned by CASIS and by its allies and partners;
- Publications concerning developments in security and intelligence (S&I), with reviews;
- Educational and professional training programs in S&I, offered in Canada and in other countries;
- Information about CASIS allies and partners, and about their benefits for CASIS members;
- Member-only access to other members’ professional profiles, for research and networking;
- A forum for posting of news and views on S&I developments, appointments, organizations, new research, studies, techniques, technologies and theories.
Please feel free to share your thoughts on our new website and any input you may wish to provide. Send your comments to me, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or to any member of the CASIS Board or staff.
We are re-inventing CASIS, to make it more valuable for YOU. Let us know what you think.
